Library cards issued at Ogden can be used at any of the public libraries in Monroe County. Library cards are required anytime you want to borrow library materials. The cards expire after two years, at which time library staff will verify your address and phone number and update the expiration date on the card. The cost for replacing a lost card is $1.00.
Cards For Adults Adults must provide identification showing proof of current address. Acceptable forms of identification are:
a driver's license, learner's permit or non-driver ID
car registration or insurance card
recent utility bill
Cards For Children & Teens, Ages 0-18 A parent or legal guardian must complete and sign a registration form for each child or teen receiving a card. Only parents or guardians can sign for a child's card. In addition to having a parent/guardian's signature to get a library card, children and teens must also have parental approval to borrow videos and DVDs.
