Volunteering for Teens Due to the large number of community service hours needed by our local school students, OFL will primarily accept teens who need hours for a school project or club into our Volunteer Program
All other volunteers will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case or as-need basis.
Volunteer Guidelines Please be sure to read the guidelines so you know what we expect of our volunteers!
The Friends of the Library scholarship application is open to those who have a connection to the library (a member of the Junior Friends, a volunteer, a staff member). Applicants will write an essay of 500 words explaining their goals, career decisions and how they could benefit humanity. The selection committee begins accepting applications in January and the decision is made at the April meeting. The scholarship is presented at the Awards Ceremony at the High School in the spring.
